Unfortunately, through my research there does not seem to be many websites that discuss the issues of music fandom. Majority focus on the notion of fandoms in a more general sense, grouping book fandoms and other in the same category. A lot of the discussion surrounding music fandoms and the negative issues occurs on social media sites such as Twitter and TikTok. Thus, to still be to present a variety of topics related to this theme I have compiled various articles that I thought might pique the interest of some readers.
Kpop news websites - to note
There are certain webpages that specialise in presenting news related to Kpop, a sub type of the pop music genre from South Korea. While I will provide them I do not find them to be informative about the topics discussed in this blog, rather they simply present news happening in general topic on Kpop music. However what these websites do show is how certain fans of Kpop artists consume information about their favourite idol/artist/group, with the amount of news being published.
Unfortunately I could not find any equivalent for other pop music industry types, such as American and European.
NFT's and the music industry
NFT's or “non-fungible tokens”,unique digital collectibles that can be bought, sold or traded. They fall under blockchain technology. I will not spend time explaining what it is in detail as that would take quite the section. Nevertheless, NFT's have recently started entering the music industry. While some think that it is a genuinely good addition to the industry, with how streaming is bringing artists less and less money, there are certain concerns. The articles below present both the beneficial side of NFT's and the negative impact and issues that might come along with it.
This is something relatively new and if you have any interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology I think this topic might just be the thing to give the brain a nice tingle.

Mental Health
Mental health is something that has been mentioned briefly throughout this blog. There have been certain concerns that fans who display obsessive behaviour towards a celebrity usually have some underlying mental health issues. However additionally, there are multiple articles that talk about the impact of fandom and stans on the mental health of the fans.
Below are a brief list of articles that I think are interesting and might provide a different prospective than the one brought up in these blogs as they also discuss how fandoms can be beneficial to ones mental health.

Governmental Regulations
Certain governments have began to impose regulations due to certain issues concerning the pop music industry. Most of the articles provided below talk about China, where this year the government has began to introduce measures to control the impact of the pop music industry, via limiting fan group ability to spend significant about of money on their idols and their promotion.
